ABOUT

Hi, my name is Inés.

Here, I offer my services as a plant-based private chef and private yoga teacher.

I choose to work privately with clients so I can tailor my offerings to each individual — using the cooking skills and yoga knowledge I’ve cultivated over the years to help others deepen their relationship with themselves.

I've always had a love for movement and sport — from swimming, tennis, padel, hiking, netball, and rounders to squash and hockey, competing in the latter two at county level. It was through these physical pursuits that I was introduced to both plant-based nutrition and yoga.

DISCOVERING YOGA & PLANT-BASED FOOD

In 2018 when I was an active squash player, I was in a car accident in which my foot was run over. Due to my own stubbornness and eagerness to return to sports, I never properly recovered. When COVID arrived and I no longer had access to physiotherapy, I began exploring healing in my own way — sitting in gentle stretches, breathing into my injury. As I did so, I began to notice not only physical tension, but a parallel emotional and mental strain. This experience opened the door to what I now call meditative stretching — a practice that helps release emotional and mental tension through the physical body.

This led me into a deeper practice of yoga and meditation — where one expands their awareness of the body, thoughts, and emotions. Ultimately, this fosters greater empathy and compassion. Combined with my realisation of how my digestion when eating meat left me feeling lethargic and hindered my energy levels, I made the decision to fully adopt a plant-based lifestyle in 2021.

EXPERIENCE

Along the way, I’ve been committed to expanding and refining my skills. Completing my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2022; starting through offering informal 1:1 sessions, designing personalised sequences to support everything from digestion, to emotional release and working toward specific poses. In 2023, I graduated from Le Cordon Bleu London, where I expanded my understanding of plant-based culinary arts.

During my time at university, I also founded a small herbal blends brand called Tierra Blends. It started as a way to create healthy alternatives to smoking tobacco — using soothing, natural herbs. Over time, the project evolved into crafting functional drinking herbal blends designed to support anxiety, sleep, concentration, and digestion. This deepened my interest in holistic health, and inspired me to explore the healing properties of plants.

Since then, I have been teaching yoga in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, and am currently studying plant-based nutrition to further enrich the health-supportive aspect of my offerings.

PHILOSOPHY

I don’t subscribe to rigid labels or movements, I simply believe in creating a world where animals can live freely, and where we nourish ourselves with food that is full of life and vitality — not death.

Perfection isn’t the goal. But this is my vision of a happy world: one where we eat in the most natural way — a plant-based diet that supports both the health of the planet and our inner peace. I believe that when nature and animals are happy, the greater forces of nature, which are beyond human control, can also rest in balance.

Ultimately, I believe the challenges we see in the world can be healed if each of us turns inward. When we clean up our own mental and physical landscapes and do our best to avoid inflicting harm, we create a ripple effect. From this personal foundation, a better world can emerge.
