White Chocolate and Walnut Blondies

I N G R E D I E N T S

✺ 1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter melted

✺ 1 cup (250 g) brown sugar firmly packed

✺ ½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar

✺ 2 large eggs + 1 egg yolk

✺ 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

✺ 2 ¼ cups (285 g) all-purpose flour

✺ 2 teaspoons cornstarch

✺ ½ teaspoon baking powder

✺ 1 teaspoon salt

✺ ⅔ cup (115 g) white chocolate chips

✺ 1 cup (130 g) chopped walnuts

✺ 13 x 9 inch baking tray

I N S T R U C T I O N S

1.Preheat oven to (175C) and line a 13×9 inch baking dish with parchment paper

2. Combine melted butter and sugar in a large bowl and stir well.

3. Add eggs, egg yolk, and vanilla extract and stir until completely combined. Set aside.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt.

5. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into wet until just combined.

6. Fold in white chocolate chips and nuts, if using.

7. Spread blondie batter into prepared pan and transfer to oven. Bake for 25-30 mins or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with a few fudgy crumbs

8. I like to carefully remove the baked good from the pan when out of the oven by holding onto the baking paper to avoid it baking more. This is a little risky however. Otherwise wait for it to cool down and then cut!
